The Gila & The Salt : Our River Stories

I am grateful to be able to perform at the Tempe History Museum and share many stories from different cultural perspectives about our beloved life giving rivers and their unfortunate demise.

Water is a very important issue that affects every one of us today throughout the whole world.

Come hear compelling stories about the amazing history of #Water in the Arizona desert.

Join in the performance and conversation!

Narizon

Narizon a person with a very prominent nose, a very common nick name in Latin America, not necessarily a derogatory term, in this case its a term of endearment. This character has been bullied and humiliated all of his life because of his unique way of dressing, and his facial features. Despite a difficult childhood, he has now developed his self-esteem and identity. On his free time, he fights for human rights and dignity for all people. Check him out!

Welcome- Bienvenidos!

Very excited to present the 1st blog of El Bato Poeta one of my most prolific characters from the cast of the show Face to Face in a Frenzy! El Bato Poeta is a conglomeration of many of the great old school Chicano Poets that I had the opportunity to hangout with during the early days of the Chicano Movement! Poets such as, Ricardo Sanchez, Raul Salinas, Jose Antonio Burciaga, Alejandro Murgia, and Jose Montoya. The Bato Poeta expresses el Espiritu del Bato Loco Chicano Low Rider Mindset! Take a look for yourself.....
